Hi,
My name is Luke, and I've worked in the Engineering & Technology industry for over a decade.  In my free time I've always been interested in the latest cutting edge technology - everything from Home Automation, to Drones, and everything in between.

My first job was as a paperboy when I was 11 or 12 years old, and I've had many similar jobs while I was growing up.  Problem was, there was always a new video game, or gadget coming out, and those jobs never really seemed to provide quite enough money to feed my technology addiction.  
So I found ways to make a little extra.  I'd sell my old Hot Wheels or hockey cards at a garage sale, or when I was older play foosball for money in between classes... and sometimes while I should have been in class. 

I learned early on that if I could save a little extra on one thing, I might be able to use those savings on something else I really wanted.

Challenge accepted:

I think over the years, those lessons I learned early on have stuck with me.  It's almost become a challenge, or a game to me:  how can I cut down my monthly bills, but still live the same/or better quality of life?

I started this web page in response to questions friends and family were asking, mostly about cutting the cord.  I found not only was I having the same conversations over and over, but also, as I learned more and more, I realized that there wasn't really a quick one size fits all answer I could give.  

If only there was a place I could write down the tips I've learned over the years to quickly share with friends and family...  a place I could keep the advice up to date as technology changes... maybe even a place to share some of the great deals on new tech. as I seek it out in the furthest corners of the Internet...  :)
